Since Labour has come to power they have used the atrocity's of 9/11 in order to pass legislation that undermines these human rights.
The Universal declaration of Human rights (CLICK HERE FOR LINK) was written up after the second world war. This was so that the crimes committed by both sides could not happen again and that human life above all was sacrosanct.
The "Terrorism act of 2000" and the "Terrorism Act of 2006" undermine the rights of this now defunct policy by denying the British public the following rights:
